Dissonance Devours
Architecture as Predator
It does not rest.
It devours.
Motion hemorrhages through the superstructure.
No presence, no substance.
Breath atomizes against surfaces.
Wiring spasms outward, violently discordant.
Awareness disperses without pattern or purpose.
As fever is to body, this convulsion is to form:
erupting, draining, voracious.
Three emerge.
No departures.
No releases.
Intrusions, merely consumed.
Recognition compulsory.
Extraction commences.
The frame contorts.
Pressure splits along the seams.
Force erupts from corner, apex.
One body jerks backward.
Light flares harshly, three hundred percent brighter.
The corridor inhales.
No permission given.
Rejection enforced.
Sound tears through another, frequencies ascending, over-resolved.
Consonance shatters through conduits.
One screams involuntarily.
Ductwork swallows tone, responding sharply, not echoing but canceling.
At threshold, motion accelerates.
Alloy strikes intentionally.
Cold penetrates.
Movement convulses again.
Dissolution initiated.
Everything shrieks.
Extraction continues.
Metal sheds memory, source-driven yet absent.
Air compresses.
Walls contract severely.
Every system flags the change, all sensors shriek movement.
Still, the light cuts through stillness.
Both expulsion and consumption.
Attention, focused and fragmentary.
Corridors constrict across moments.
No acceptance.
Only a hardening.
Barriers crystallize, edges sharpen.
Alienation floods through architecture, acid-like and brutal.
Breaths shallow.
Steps quicken.
All paths prescribed, yet directions collapse.
Convergence follows frequency, each push toward the same nowhere.
